The Community Leader of the Year award was established to recognize and honor a Brevard County citizen who, like the Foundation’s mission statement, has made substantial contributions to improve and enhance public awareness and  understanding of the many and varied contributions of lawyers in our community.

2021 Award Recipient: Judge Alli. B. Majeed

Judge Majeed served as Brevard County Court judge for 22 years and 2 years as Senior Judge. He was the first person of color elected to a countywide office in Brevard County. Judge Majeed is known for his love of America and his inspiring life story.
